Carol Ann is college educated and has a distinguished career as a Registered Nurse. She also holds a degree in Biblical studies.

Clarence's daughter Rebecca Helms lives in California with her husband Nicholas and children Madison, Andrew, Joel and Wesley. Rebecca and Nick are officers in the Salvation Army currently providing humanitarian and pastoral services to the citizens of Pasadena, California.

Clarence's son Stephen is following in the family footsteps as a successful System Administrator for Brasfield & Gorrie. Stephen, Ari, Gabe and Sophia live in Franklin, TN just outside Nashville.
